Saskia

Menno, Esther and Ericka thought of everything. The biggest decision we had to make on any day of our 2 week stay, was where to go for supper... no they even helped with that! I guess it was just what time to go for supper.
DBV was perfect.
The hospitality made us feel so much at home, DBV really is a home away from home. Can't wait to return!

We have just returned from our 10th trip at the DBV. Each time we visit, we notice an improvement or something a little bit different. Since our last visit, Menno and Esther have taken on Lee and Lova to help out with the diving and snorkelling etc. They are a delightful couple and a great addition. Both are highly qualified and they fit in well with the rest of the crew.

We notice that Esther has started to help the locals integrate into the diving fraternity by offering them diving instruction at weekends. We welcome this innovation that helps the locals enjoy the natural beauty of Bonaire diving and perhaps mix in with the tourists divers. In no way does it inflict on other guests at the resort and in fact their laughter and obvious enjoyment of what they are doing is so infectous and is enough to put a smile on everybody's face. So well done to Esther and her 'Latino Divers'.

Penny and I stayed in the Trigger Room for the first time on this trip and we are now totally spoilt. Its a great room and offers plenty of space for a larger gentleman such as I !!

Thanks again to Menno, Esther, Erika, Lee, Lova, Bully and Usco for a great stay. Hope to see you all again soon.

A little piece of heaven!

After our third visit to DBV we had a detour to Curacao this year. We miss Boniare and DBV already!!! Although Curacao has beautiful beaches it also has traffic, mass tourism, noise, stress and none of the tranquility of Bonaire. We have travelled a lot since our student days "way back", and thinking of ourselves as "adventurous", we never go back to the same place, as life is too short and the world is too big... BUT we keep on going back to DBV and have had three wonderful stays at the DBV with Menno and Esther. Life is too short to keep searching when you've found paradise...
We have never stayed anywhere where we feel so much at home, at ease, relaxed, and with such attentive and personal service all the time. There's no schedule ( unless you want one), your blood pressure drops as soon as you land on Flamingo airport, take a stroll over to the car rental and get in the pickup and drive up to the DBV.
Bully and Usco take good care of the guests and for those ( like us) that miss their pets at home, makes the stay even brighter :-)
Erica is as always smiling and and when you go off for your dive leaves you with an "enjoy :-)" and you kind of wander off smiling. The diving is always relaxed from Menno's pride "Me Jadato", a comfortable and spacious boat. It is always a happy but small group onboard for quality diving at your own pace. Between dives there's Esthers divine muffins to brighten up an already super day out at sea...
Back at Deep Blue View you always have a happy gang of guests sharing diving experiences or having a laugh, or indulging into Esthers breakfast or snoring in the hammocks...
Every year we meet new diving friends, some have become very special to us after three years of diving together and sharing some great moments and becoming friends for life :-)
We have found our paradise, and look forward to many more years to come... :-)
Thanks also to the "new crew" of Lee and Lova, you've come to a special place! Make the most of it ( as I'm sure you will!) and good luck with future plans! Hope to see you all next year!

Thank you again, Ester and Menno, for a truly wonderful stay last week at the Deep Blue View. Erika, thank you for also taking good care of our room and helping make our delicious breakfasts each morning. Lee and Lova, you are working in a truly special place and though new to Bonaire and Deep Blue View, we wish you the best and look forward to seeing you again on our next trip back.

Big belly rubs to Bullie and Usco.... Sure enjoyed loving on these critters as we always miss our dog so much when we travel.

We are already planning our next trip back and look forward to seeing you again soon!

Safe diving and THANK YOU again for a wonderful time,
Mel and Ken

We just returned from our first of hopefully many stays at the DBV. I hardly know what to say first as there are so many wonderful compliments to give Menno, Esther and Erica. We truely had the time of our lives on Bonaire and at DBV.
We were not sure what to expect having never been to Bonaire and having only been recently SCUBA certified last year. Yet Menno and Esther gave many words of advice, expertise and encouragement that created the perfect atmosphere to make the most of our first Caribbean experience.
The rooms, food and equipment were excellent. I cannot give them higher marks than EXCELLENT.
If you are thinking of going--stop thinking and make a reservation!!!!

We have been back a week from our 9th stay at the DBV. The day we landed it started to snow. Its is now 30cms snow and temperatures reach as low as minus 19 degrees centigrade.

Anyway, thanks to Esther, Menno, Erika and the dogs for another wonderful stay at the Deep Blue View. It rained a bit whilst we were there but it didn't spoil anything.

Thanks again, see you in April.
