We came back from our first Bonaire vacation a week ago.
It was a really nice stay in DBV B&B. I would highly recommend this place.
Esther and Menno are outstanding hosts. They made our vacation perfect!

Hallo Esther, Menno en Erica,
We zijn vanmorgen vroeg aangekomen in Nederland. En missen het nu al.
Het was een super huwelijksreis!! Speciaal door alle persoonlijke aandacht en adviezen. Het behalen van de Padi en de aanmoediging om samen met Michiel te duiken was het "zetje"
Heel erg bedankt en wie weet voor het 1 jarige feest........

This was our third trip to Bonaire but the first visit and hopefully not our last to DBV.
Esther, Menno , Erica, Bully and Usco could not have looked after us better. Our room was always kept spotless with a fresh supply of towels.
Breakfast was devine proving the roumours to be true about the pancakes! Esther is a true goddess and I just dont know where she gets her energy from. Menno is just gtreat at finding the right spots to find anything in particular you want to see. He found our first ever frogfish!!!
There is full secure dive facility on site with excellent dive kit to hire should you require. After diving there was nothing better than to chill with a beer (or two) in a hammock or lounger by the pool.
Whilst every need is met DBV has a laid back feel.
If you are looking for somewhere to stay In Bonaire then this is truly the place. You wont be disapointed.

We have just returned from another fabulous stay at DBV. Esther and Menno continue to make this a very special place. Menno's new boat is perfectly set up for the easiest boat dives ever as well as the wonderful sunset cruise. Esther's breakfasts are the best way to start a day of diving, relaxing or touring. Thank you Esther, Menno, Erika, Bully and Usco for another perfect week. |

My boyfriend, Chris, and I stayed for a week at the DBV in June 2009. A week was definitely not long enough. Esther & Menno are the best hosts you could hope for and the DBV is a relaxing get away. We missed our sunset cruise because Menno's boat was not working while we were there, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are starting to plan a trip to return in 2010. Menno -we'll be sure to bring you another supply of Fat Tire! |

We stayed at the DBV in December 04 for the last few days of our honeymoon. Esther and Menno were wonderful hosts and made us feel right at home. Esther's breakfasts were awesome and an excellent start to the day. I was 3 months pregnant when we visited and they suprised us with a baby gift - a pink flamingo - which we still have to this day. If we ever get the chance to stop by Bonaire again, we will surely be staying here.

We have just got back home (to a load of snow), after a three week holiday at the DBV. That was our 7th visit. We have never gone back to a place we had been before until we discovered the DBV - which must say a lot about we feel about this lovely place. Thank you once again to Esther and Menno, (not forgetting the dogs), for your kindness and attention to every detail. We hope to see you all again soon.

We have just returned from celebrating Christmas, our anniversary and New Year's at the Deep Blue View and cannot think of a better place to have spent our time. Esther and Menno are wonderful hosts who have thought of everything. The grounds are lush and have spots for solitude or socializing, the rooms are quiet, clean and comfortable, Esther's breakfasts, boat dive muffins and barbecue dinner fare are all fabulous. The dive gear area is the best set up I have seen for divers and our time on the boat and in the water with Menno was some of the best of the week. Thank you, Esther and Menno! |

My husband and I just returned from a 2 week stay at DBV. (Oct.25-Nov 8). We were a bit nervous before the stay as we had never stayed at a B&B for such a long time. The minute we arrived all our fears were erased. From the minute Menno met us at the airport to the minute we left we felt at home. You could not ask for more attentive hosts who work to make sure your stay is everything you would like it to be. They are helpful in suggesting dive sites, restaurants and anything else you might want. The dive boat is in top order and the guided dives wonderful. Breakfasts are great! anything your little heart desires, and the BBQ night is not to be missed. If you have a special day while you are there, Esther and Menno can help you plan something special. I would certenly recomend DBV to anyone looking for a very quiet personal vacation. We will be back! |

Thanks again for a great vacation. The top rating by Trip Advisor is well deserved. The room was spacious, quiet, clean and modern. The bed very comfy and the air conditioning much needed at night! The breakfast were fantastic, Esther is a fabulous chef! The diving was fantastic and Menno is a very experienced and entertaining Captain. Thanks too, Esther, for the guided shore dives, especially the night dive. It was spectacular. We are back in Calgary, it was -5c this morning. eek. No snow yet, at least.
We loved the charming, quiet environment of your B&B, the guided dives and relaxing around your pool and would highly recommend to anyone. Like many of your guests, we are hoping to return.... soon!
