Dit mooie, intieme resort is een zekerheid voor een meer dan geslaagd vakantieverblijf met alle faciliteiten die je als duiker of snorkelaar zou wensen.
Esther en Menno we vonden het fantastisch!!
Wij willen net zoals zovelen "repeaters" worden, wat trekken jullie leuke en gezellige gasten aan!
Volgens ons wordt de naam binnenkort gewijzigd naar:
"THE DEEP BLUE REVIEW"

This was our fourth visit to the Deep Blue View in the last twelve months. We have travelled the world, stayed in some terrific places and dived in some of the best dive sites available. However, DBV comes top in our holiday list. It simply reaches a part of your soul other places just cannot get near to. The ambience, the relaxed atmosphere, the hosts Esther and Menno, the diving etc, are all beyond compare and should be the basis on which all other Travel/Holiday resorts are compared.
We would like to thank Esther and Menno for all that they do. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Thank you, Menno and Esther, for helping to make our first trip to Bonaire an extraordinary experience that we want to repeat again and again. Brian and I are so pleased that we chose Deep Blue View. You have created a beautiful, classy and peaceful oasis.
Breakfasts were delicious (you make a yummy omelette, Esther) and we had a lot of fun during the sunset boat cruise and BBQ (you make a terrific rum punch, Esther). The pool and gardens were immaculate and so very relaxing. Menno, the setup for diving was so convenient and easy. Tanks were always ready with a good full, rinse tubs were always full and clean, and the gear storage facilities were top-notch.
We'll be back! |

Dear Esther and Menno:
Camila and I will never forget the wonderful time we had at DBV in our honeymoon. You seem to know veeery well how to make people feel at home (in paradise). The diving, sunset trip, BBQ evening, dining, etc etc etc were superb. It´s a shame we didn´t have more time to spend, but that means we will definately be back soon!

Dear Esther & Menno,
It has only been a few days since we left your wonderful inn and had to come back to reality. I just wanted to write and tell you again what a wonderful time we had at the Deep Blue View! Our stay with you made a special time for us (our 25th anniversary) even more special and memorable than we could have imagined. From the moment we stepped off the plane we felt at home and welcomed by you. The experience that you provide for your guests is incredible, we met so many wonderful people. We will never forget our Champagne Lunch! Wow, what fun that was! The diving was spectacular, the sunset cruises awesome and the BBQ dinners and daily breakfasts were beyond compare. Since we have been home we have recommended you to everyone that we have talked to. We will definatly be back!

To Esther and Menno -
I did not stay at your resort but my sister and brother-in-law did for their 25th Wedding Anniversary. I emailed Menno for information as to what I could surprise them with on their anniversary. He suggested a "champagne Lunch" that would be prepared by them. Donna called to tell me what a great time they had at the resort and to tell me about the lunch which was served in a private cave with candles floating in the water, champagne, lunch and snorkeling.
Thank You for the quick response to my email and all your help, they truly enjoyed it!

We can't wait to go back to DBV!! Menno and Esther (the owners of DBV) have found their calling in life - with boundless energy, honest & reliable service, knowledge of diving, senses of humor, and true respect for the Island - they are meant for running the DBV and helping guests relax and feel comfortable. We've been to Bonaire twice now... The first time we stayed at one of the bigger resorts on the water -- it was nice... But, DBV was much better! The mix of personal attention and privacy - was just right. If you go - please enjoy a rum punch on the boat for us and be sure to offer a toast to Esther & Menno!!

It has been two months since we’ve returned from 2 weeks at DBV and are still grinning from ear to ear. Esther and Menno were great with tips about improving our diving and which dive sites would be appropriate for our beginners’ level. Bully and Usco were always willing to be scratched behind their ears. It was great that the most difficult decisions were, what to eat, where to dive and which hammock to read in. We never felt like “guests” but like a group of friends from New York , DC , Tulsa , Stockholm , Cleveland and Cincinnati hanging out with friends Esther and Menno. We can still hear Esther’s wonderful laugh and Menno pretending to dread, “another day at the office …sigh” as he would prepare for the day’s diving.
We look forward to coming “home” to Bonaire and our friends at DBV next year! |

Esther and Menno,
We had an absolutely fantastic time at the DBV on the first week of our honeymoon! Everything was perfect and you were excellent hosts. From the tasty and sustaining breakfasts, to the quality rental gear, to a great night dive and some interesting boat dives, to the lovely cool pool and hammocks for relaxing, to the friendly and amusing dogs, to the fun rum punch/BBQ night with fellow guests, and a clean and pleasant room. We can't recommend the DBV enough and we can't wait to come back!
PS We spent the second week of the honeymoon in Martinique, which was quite different but not half as good! |

Dushi Esther en Menno,
Dank jullie wel voor de fantastische tijd die we op Bonaire hebben doorgebracht. Alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Jullie hebben er een heerlijk stekje van gemaakt voor de vakantieganger die van genieten houdt. Prachtig uitzicht, heerlijke tuin, lekkere bedjes bij het zwembad. De honden zijn schatjes, zo rustig en lief.
De kamers zijn ook zo geweldig, met al die details die je het Caribean gevoel geeft. Top is de 'honeymoon room', hoef je echt niet voor te trouwen.
Alles bij de hand, goed duikmateriaal, de duiken zijn uitstekend verzorgd, met veel deskundigheid en zorgvuldigheid geven jullie de briefings. Alle grotjes, koraaltjes, vissies zijn jullie bekend. Ontzettend fijn als je voor een relaxte week het eiland aandoet.
Een vette aanrader voor de rustzoeker ('hangmatteren' bij het zwembad en zo nu en dan een plonsje in het zwembad) en voor de duiker (een duik naar ieders wens, wanneer je maar wilt, er wordt tijd voor vrij gemaakt, geen rush, voor bootduiken hoef je niet te sjouwen, te zeulen).
Voor de lezer die het stekje niet kent: kost een paar centen, maar dan heb je wèl kwaliteit én het meest belangrijke: een hele fijne vakantie!
Mochten we weer Bonaire aandoen dan zijn wij van de partij.
