The stay at the Deep Blue with Menno and Esther was unforgettable, to say the least. Their layed back dimeanor and 'at home' feeling give this place a unique personalization that you would be hard-pressed to find anywhere else. Menno's motto "Relax, you're on bacaaation!" always had me laughing. My expectations of 'superficial' resort personnel were far exceeded by these two warm-hearted individuals. You actually have trouble leaving the place because you feel you've made two new friends. Menno is a top notch dive guide. He made us feel completely confident and secure with whatever dive site we were about to encounter. For instance, I had some reservations about my first night dive under the town pier which soon dissapated by Menno's calm cool and confident dimeanor and extensive knowledge. What can I say....they made the entire experience worth going back to again and again. No need to worry about any locals up to no good....Esther will chase them away with her flip flop in-hand chastising them in Dutch....she was really funny-great memory! ha ha. Anywhere else I go to dive all I can talk about is the diving but on this particular trip my stories always include Menno and Esther, their stories, their gracious hospitality, and the fun we had with them.

Thanks for the memories guys! I'll be back soon.

We have just come back from the most fabulous vacation and it had everything to do with the fantastic personalized service we received from Ester and Menno at the Deep Blue View. This resort has the most relaxed and friendly atmosphere we have ever had the pleasure of staying at..........we will definately stay here each and every time we go to Bonaire.

Menno and Ester made our first trip to Bonaire the best vacation we've ever been on. These are two of the nicest people you would ever want to stay with. Ester is a wonderful cook, and her breakfasts are not to be missed. She also makes a mean rum punch out on the sunset cruise too. Menno is a very knowledgeable and highly capable dive instructor, as well as a great dive guide. He knows where the cool stuff is like seahorses, frogfish, and rabbitfish. The grounds and facilities are top-notch, a wonderful place for relaxing between dives. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the observation deck is a nice place to look out over Klein Bonaire. We will definitely be returning to the DBV again in the future.

The DBV provided us with a wonderful experience – from the great food to the sunset cruise to the outstanding diving. We immediately felt welcomed thanks to Esther and Mennos's hospitality and humor. It was hard to leave the relaxed atmosphere. We are looking forward to our next visit to the DBV. We hope to have another encounter with infamous Bonaire Sea Rabbit.

What can I say that hasn't been said? Our stay at the DBV was outstanding! Esther and Menno have a gift for making people feel like old friends. Our trip to Bonaire and our stay at the DBV will remain in our memories and in our hearts for a long time.

OMG!! We have travelled to the Caribbean for years, and this has to be the best all around! Menno, Esther, Bully and Usco are the perfect hosts and hostesses! The room was clean, cozy and well appointed. The well kept grounds were quiet, serene and very inviting after a day of terrific diving. The crystal clear pool and huge hammocks are irresitable. Menno and Esther made sure to accommodate us in any way they could. They left us wanting more, and anxious to return soon! We would have to write a book put express all the wonderful feelings we have about staying at DBV! Thanks y'all for a vacation to remember!! :D :D

Hallo Esther & Menno,

We zijn alweer een flinke week in Maastricht, en we moeten toch concluderen : het is bij jullie een stuk fijner dan thuis. Hopelijk tot gauw (als we tenminste een vlucht bij de KLM los gepeuterd krijgen).

Groetjes, Petra & Jos

The Deep Blue Veiw is a great experience. Esther and Menno invite you into their home, which has a relaxing atmosphere. The breakfasts are outstanding, the hospitality is a delight. Of course, the diving is incredible. This was our second visit to the DBV and our intent is to return. :D

We visited DEEP BLUE VIEW in May 2004 and had one of the best vacations ever. Menno and Ester are great hosts. Menno is a wonderful dive instructor and Ester is the best cook on the island. Their B&B is fantastic and you are guaranteed to have a great time. The diving package you get from DEEP BLUE VIEW is one of the best. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a wonderful trip. We want to return. What a wonderful trip. Everyone must visit Bonaire and stay at DEEP BLUE VIEW ;-)

My wife and I just returned from a week at DBV. We have been fortunate to have snorkeled in Belize, Turks and Caicos and Grand Cayman and were not prepared for the beauty of Bonaire and all the warm and friendly people we met during our trip. I attached a picture of Esther and my wife snorkeling at Sorobon, this is just one of the many examples where Esther, Menno and Karin made our trip an experience we'll not soon forget. We already miss the daily breakfast get togethers where we all discussed yesterdays adventures while enjoying Esthers wonderful breakfast, Menno's calm way of getting us to experience new snorkel and scuba adventures and Karin's help learning to Scuba. We came for snorkeling but left feeling we left friends behind. We'll return soon.
