Wanted to stop by and see the new site - we enjoyed our visit in Oct 04 - was so nice to get away and relax - and what a perfect spot. Menno & Ester were the perfect hosts - they always had recommendations on things we could do. The cave experiece was fabulous!! And make sure Menno shows you the gorgeous sea horses off the coast of Klein!! Enjoy your stay!! |

We were searching for a place that was not the commercialized large resort atmosphere, but where the staff still knew a lot about the area and could assist us when we needed guidance. We were also seeking diving certifications, but did not want to be just another tourist in a large group class. We were fortunate enough to have found everything at DBV! Our diving instructor, Karin, was extremely knowledgeable and could not have been better; we feel we learned far more with the individualized instruction. And Esther and Menno were excellent hosts, providing guidance when we asked, but never attempting to direct our vacation. Their response was always, “Whatever you wish, it’s YOUR vacation”. A clean, comfortable and beautiful resort with excellent staff… how could we not highly recommend Deep Blue View! |

Heerlijk waren de 2 weken bij DBV! De persoonlijke aanpak, humor, contact met de andere gasten, de relaxtheid spraken ons erg aan. Het duiken was leuk en afwisselend (boot en kant). Niemand haast zich, je mag ook zo lang duiken als je wilt (45 min. bij andere duikscholen). Ook de attentie bij Marten's verjaardag was erg leuk.

Our stay at DBV was incredible. We had high expectations given the high rating in Frommer's and could not have been more pleased. Both Esther and Menno are very hospitable and knowledgable. The barbeque and rum punch sunset tour was like no other. We will definately make this a frequent destination. Nothing else will ever compare to Deep Blue View. |

My husband and I took our first trip to Bonaire and stayed at the Deep Blue View. Esther and Menno are absolutely the best! We felt so at home all week long. I miss Esther's omlettes and pancakes! The dogs, Bully and Usco, are funny and friendly, and make sure you know they are part of the family! The accommodations are wonderful, very private and comfortable. It's all the personal touches that make such a big difference.
We did not want to stay in a large dive resort, and we feel so lucky to have discovered the DBV. This is a place you will want to come back to again. Menno has vast knowledge of all the best dive sites. You will not go wrong following his shore dive recommendations, and the boat trips are easy and relaxed, (no rushing or scrambling necessary!) Beautiful corals and animal life abound. It is a treat to watch the fish behavior, much more observable here than in other places. Fantastic visibility. A trip we will not soon forget! :-) :-) :-) |
