Esther Wiegerink and Menno de Bree moved to Bonaire in the year 2000 after owning and operating a small successful
restaurant in the Netherlands for a little over 10 years. Not really knowing what to do next they both worked on
the island for a while when in 2002 their dream came true. As interim managers they got the opportunity to learn
all the ins and outs of the Deep Blue View B&B and after running it for a little over 6 months they decided to
buy this wonderful place. Per the first of January 2003 they can call themselves the proud owners.
Both of them are enthusiastic divers and experienced PADI dive-instructors.
Esther, a great cook, prepares the daily breakfasts. She offers the snorkel-trips and guides the pier- and
night-dives and she also teaches a great number of PADI courses.
Menno offers the boat-dives and likes it to show you the diversity of regular divesites Bonaire has to offer as
well as the not so regular divesites. If the weather allows it he gladly takes you out to the not yet discovered
east-coast or to the far northern part if the island.

Both of them do know all about the dive sites Bonaire has to offer and can give you al sorts of inside information
as well about the secret and not so secret shoredive sites on the island.
Sandra Gonzales lives on Bonaire for almost 7 years now. She originally comes from Venezuela and moved to Bonaire
together with here husband, a chef in a local restaurant, and started a family here. She helps Esther with the
breakfasts and does all kinds of very important jobs in and around the house. She loves it to make your stay a
very comfortable one and is willing to help out with everything you need. Spanish is here native language, but she
is learning very hard to speak and understand English and a bit of Dutch. She is also recently certified as open
water diver and, you'll never know, she might join in on one of our (boat) dive-trips.
Bully and Usco are the security guards. Bully, the male, likes to hang out in and around the pool more then
guarding the premises, but Usco fills in for him on that part. Together they are a perfect team in guarding the
premises and entertaining guests who do miss their own pets.
